In order to ensure the health and safety of our participants, it has been decided that no face-to-face internships will take place this summer in our partner organizations.
However, we are pleased to announce the adaptation of Montréal Relève’s activities in digital format for the summer of 2020!
Two types of activities await our participating students:
1 – SHORT VIDEOS: My First Steps in the Professional World
In the end of May, the students will receive a “kit” with several short-format video clips addressing questions that teenagers may ask themselves before experiencing their first professional experience. “How do I dress in a company?”, “How do I prepare for a job interview?” or “How do I behave with my colleagues?” are examples of topics that will be covered. These videos take up the content normally offered in classroom workshops (during the regular course of the program).
2 – WEBINARS: My Career Exploration Meetings
During the months of June and July, students will be invited to attend a one-hour webinar with three Montreal professionals once a week. These professionals from different backgrounds and professions will have the role of demystifying their profession and explaining in concrete terms the reality of the professional world that awaits students, as mentors would do it during internship.
There are 9 virtual professional meetings awaiting students this summer, on Thursdays from 5 to 6 p.m.!
Students will also have the opportunity to ask their questions live to the various professionals.
